Qatar Wins Multiple Honors at Cairo Diplomacy Forum

Qatar received several major awards at the International Forum of Arab Women in Diplomacy. The Arab League's General Secretariat hosted the event in Cairo. The Arab Council for Social Responsibility co organized the forum this year. The event coincided with the International Day of Arab Women Diplomats. Four Qatari women received recognition for their leadership and service.

Education Minister honored for social leadership

Minister Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater received the Arab Woman Excellence Shield. This award recognized her work in education across national and regional levels. Organizers called her an inspiring model of Arab women's leadership. Counselor Khalid Abdullah Al Ibrahim accepted the award on her behalf. He represents Qatar's embassy in Cairo and its Arab League delegation.

Two more Qatari leaders receive social responsibility awards

Dr. Rania Yousri Mohammed earned the Arab Woman Social Responsibility Award. She directs private schools and kindergartens within Qatar's education ministry. Her recognized project promotes responsibility across schools, parents, and ministries together. She told Qatar News Agency the project supports equitable education for all students. Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti also received the same award. She serves as Deputy Speaker of Qatar's Shura Council. Organizers praised her work in parliamentary and community service. Al Ibrahim accepted this award on her behalf as well.

Diplomat recognized for advancing Arab cooperation

The forum also honored diplomat Maryam Ahmed Al Shibi for her contributions. She serves as Deputy Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative in Cairo. Organizers praised her work strengthening Arab cooperation and empowering women. Al Shibi told QNA the honor reflects Qatar's commitment to women's empowerment. She linked this approach directly to Qatar National Vision 2030. Al Shibi dedicated the award to Arab women and Qatari women specifically. She called it motivation to keep building peace and sustainable development. Regional diplomats, decision makers, and media leaders attended the full forum.
